Coastal challenges require honest dialogue and community cooperation.
In response to recent action from the Select Board, SBPF has offered to work with the town and Baxter Road homeowners on a revised proposal that hopefully can have the support of all. We believe collaboration is the best way to protect access, utilities and public safety while planning for long-term erosion risks.
We also believe that we will need better clarity and fairness on funding discussions, including any potential betterment structure. SBPF is hopeful that through transparency and community involvement we can all move forward together on this important project.
We will remain actively engaged and will continue to advocate for thoughtful planning for the future of Sconset Bluff.
